Smile Some apps for iPhone and Android.

Here are some apps for iPhone and Android I've come across when I was bored and looking around. I hope you will enjoy these.

Alarm Clock Pro for iPhone by iHandySoft Inc. Alarm Clock Pro wakes you up to your favorite music. Only 99 cents in the App store.

Alarm Clock Pro for Android Made by the same people who developed the Alarm Clock Pro for the iPhone. You can still listen to your favorite music when you wake up. If I were you I would try out the free version which is here

Dream Journal Pro Lets you keep a dream journal on your android phone if you don't want to keep a written journal. Here is the free version if you want to try it out before you buy it.

Dream Journal for iPhone and iPod. This lets you keep a dream journal on your iPod or iPhone.

These aren't allot. But I hope these will be useful to anyone.

Hey I recently found a quite intresting app for android named Lucid Dreaming App.

It's purpose is to detect stages of sleep where you are dreaming, which is done through the built in accelerometer, and then play a familiar sound file through the speakers that you hopefully will hear inside your dream thus making you realize that you are dreaming.

So far I have only used it for one night of testing since the instructions tell you that it will need about 3 nights of testing before the phone is calibrated enough to recognize your personal sleep patterns. So hopefully I will be able to review the app in a couple of days.

However, the app does provide you with any sound files so I am currently in search of a useful mp3/wav clip, preferably some voice saying "lucid dream" or a short familiar music clip, I haven't quite decided yet. Honestly though I think this app has potential, I myself am quite a beginner to lucid dreaming (only had a few where the excitement quickly woke me up) so anything that might positively contribute towards my goal of becoming an experienced lucid dreamer is more than welcome.

ps: Tried one free app called lucid dreaming brainwave (If memory serves me right) which I listened to when trying to WILD but free version was limited to 20 minutes only and I have problems reaching anywhere near wild state in that amount of time, however, the paid version provides 45 minutes which might be enough so will look into that later.

      /Cotte

edit: this is embarrassing... how did I manage to miss that topic in this subforum regarding that specific sleep tracker app...

I did a search to figure out if there was an article with a list of apps/prices/small description and didn't come up with much. But I was basically interested in the Brainwave app and wanted to know what peoples experiences were with it. I've only had a measly 2 LD and they weren't anything special. In one I realized I was dreaming and just decided to go along with the dream rather than be freaked out by it and the other... the only thing I remember is standing on a wood surface. the Apps I have on my phone for LD are Dreambase for recording my dreams and Reality Check to force me into a habit.

But what I'm wondering about Brainwave is, does it help with Lucid dreaming and to what capacity? I have no idea if you are still an active member here but I'd love to hear your feedback.
