Lucidimine - Y'all Have any Thoughts?!

Okay folks, bought the nootropic Lucidimine from amazon and am planning on taking it tonight.

      Ingredients include;

      6mg of galantamine per capsule.
The only Galantamine with Alpha-GPC AND CDP-Choline
PLUS - 200mg of l-Theanine for calm focus.

So it definitely packs a punch, though don't know how hard and accurate. But as supplements tend to be, you know, supplements, I figure it's not a bad way to augment my back to basics strategy.

Been using a couple of android apps and their realty checks. Pretty much have em down rote so will have to fudge the volume and timing levels over time. However going to start with Lucidimine tonight and go from there.

Would love thoughts on anyone that has used it before or that just knows about it. Especially when to take it as I've found very little info on that... Thanks in advance!

      DeltaDreamer,

I've taken Lucidimine about 7 times, at either 3 or 4 a.m. after several good hours of sleep. I've had mixed results. 3 times I experienced lucidity, lasting from 3 seconds to maybe 10 minutes. The other 4 times I could not get back to sleep no matter what I did. I did not have any negative side effects other than the inability to get back to sleep, I did not experience any hard edges with it and felt it was a rather smooth experience. From what I've read Galantamine can affect the ability to get to sleep. In my case even a WBTB without any supplements can result in insomnia as well.

The producer of Lucidimine has an interesting website dedicated to his nootropic products as well as Lucid Dreaming in general. He has an FAQ with a lot of good information about taking his products. He also has extensive articles relating to dreaming and lucidity and theories regarding such. Just google Lucidimine and you'll come up with the web site.

BTW, what android apps are you using? I've tried a few but without much success.

      Hope this info helps.

Hey DenysMT, thanks for your response... As someone who has already taken Galantamind with not really good luck, I can definitely say I hope I do better with Lucidimine. And yeah, checked out their site, definitely a lot of good information. Obviously I hope I do better than you though but of course have to couple it with the hard work it takes to get lucid regularly... At least for me!

As for the apps, I'm using Awoken and Lucid Dream Ultimate. They're more or less basic, at least as I use them, with the ability to set RC's with either audio, text, and vibrate, with any combination. I have it pretty down pat now that every time I hear the sounds I'll do just a basic RC... As I tend to make things too complicated, that usually ends up causing me to loose focus or interest. And for obvious reasons, I'd like to avoid that!

So check out those apps if you haven't already. Your mouth won't drop but they do what they promise.

The only galantamine I've ever taken is Galantamind, which has some choline and B5 mixed in with the G. Taken with extra choline bitartrate and alpha GPC results in really wild, vivid dreams, if I can get back to sleep. It even effects dreams on the second night after taking it, either that or I have massive REM rebound due to all the missed sleep after taking the supplements.

As for lucidity, I think it's important to have a well-established non-supplement LD practice before trying supplements, so you're already familiar with the feel of a lucid dream.

Yep FryingMan, yeah I didn't have much luck but I more than likely didn't stay on Galantamind long enough. And yep, as much as many would love there to be a pill you take and boom, lucid, not so much!

Tried using the LD app last night and it kept waking me up as I'm a fussy light sleeper. I had it set to go off about five hours into sleeping and then every 45 minutes, so that I wouldn't doubt needs to be tweaked as well.

My friend ordered lucidamine and had no perceivable results, but he has always been notoriously hard-headed when it comes to chemicals. I checked the ingredients and did notice that while 6mg galantamine is a decent dose, the choline bitarate and Alpha-GPC levels were quite a bit lower than recommended in the book Advanced Lucid Dreaming. So if you aren't happy with the results for some reason, you could try ordering those separately and supplementing a bit.

@2Jupes - Hmmmm, logic is what you speak to me! I'd say I've tried it three times so far, within a few hours of bedtime and haven't had much luck. Now my dreams have been more memorable and vivid but still nothing close to the reason I'm supplementing to begin with. I suppose I'll give it another week or so and try it that way unless there are better techniques out there. By then if my luck is still low and having the Lucidimine in my system I think I'll give that a try. Truth be told that might be a better option than doubling up, though the bottle says two are okay, I'd like to do that as a last resort.

Hmmm, well so far no good with the Lucidimine... I'd say my dreams are more vivid though but I'm also FINALLY recording them as well as I know how important that is to the process.

So, my question is is do I use this like the Galantamind and take one or two pills after I've slept from around 4 to 6 hours? And how about 2.5mgs of melatonin?

Anyone have success using the melatonin with these supplements to suppress dreams at the beginning of the night?
