      Is it safe?

I am looking to purchase these:

Lucid Dreaming Pills (45-Day Supply) | Huperzine A, Alpha GPC + Choline | LucidEsc | Memory + Awareness Sleep Supplement: Amazon.co.uk: Health & Personal Care

I need a boost. I have had a dry spell for about 5 months now. No matter how hard I try, I fail. I need something to kick me back into gear. These have good reviews so they must be doing something.

Now, here is the issue. It Says for 18+ only. I'm 16. I should be fine taking these though no? I will only have one a week to start with and depending on how well they work (crank it up if need be.) I'm sure the 18+ limitation is there because of overuse (you know how dramatic some teenagers can be, thinking it's cool to overdose.)

It isn't a problem for me to use them though right? Internally I mean.

It depends on what you're using them for, To get lucid? Or just in general good dream recall?

I don't recommend them because if you keep on taking them your brain will adapt to them and won't be effective.

I won't be taking them regularly, just to end my dry spell and give me a lucid boost. Also dream vividness as my recall is fine but vividness is quite low.

I've never taken anything, and haven't needed to. I'm not judging. I'm just throwing that out there. Dry spells happen. Maybe your brain needs non-lucids or non-vivid dreams from time to time. Maybe not.
---o--- my DCs say I'm dreamy.

Though I would recommend trying a gallantamine/choline mix instead, those are all fairly safe products -- as long as you take them as directed. However:

Sometimes these sorts of supplements are not meant for brains that are still developing, which is the case for teenagers; so there may be an important reason they are saying 18+ only. You probably should consider doing some more research on reputable medical or drug sites, and should certainly discuss with your doctor. There may be no danger, but you don't want to mess with your brain.

And yes, Sloth is right: dry spells happen; the best response of all might be to not worry too much about it.

I agree with Sageous, and specifically I think Huperzine A is not appropriate for someone so young (it's being investigated primarily for use in combatting Alzheimers disease!). However, choline is probably not in any way dangerous - even for a developing brain - and choline is definitely associated with dream vividness. BUT! Young people are not supposed to be lacking choline, so it might not do anything for you.

If you want to try choline, then you might want to start off with lecithin, choline bitartrate, or DMAE.
So ... is this the real universe, or is it just a preliminary study?
