      Will Oxycodone affect my dreams??

I recently fractured my wrist and was prescribed oxycodone as a pain reliever when i sleep.. I was just wondering if anyone knew of anyway this may effect my dreams.. will it kill my recall or will it possibly help me become lucid? Thanks.

Oxycodone (Vicodin) may affect your dream recall. It puts the user into a semi tranquilized/drowsy state. It has some stimulant affects as a derivitive of Opium, but is more of a depressant; and with most depressants dream recall seems to get shot.

This may lower your recall, but may also help you with relaxation techniques like WILD and such.

      Oxycodone (Vicodin)
Vicodin is not oxycodone. Vicodin is hydrocodone.

But yes, as far as I know, the relaxing will effect your dreaming recall. It is amazingly good for WILD but for some reason screws your recall. I had 4 LD's when I took Xanax and only remembered properly the last one.

Ahhh thank you for correcting me.

Oxycodone is OxyContin/Percodan/Percocet or any other trade name it comes over...

However the chemicle makeupe still derives similar results as Hydrocodone. It is an opiod derivitive.

It's effcts are similar that to Heroine/Morphine

It can put you in a very relaxed state by killing pain in the body.

It's affects are not similar to Xanax(Alprazolam) however, but they do both eventually make you reach a relaxed state, which may or may not be beneficial to LDing.

What is the effect of heroin/morphine then? I thought they both just relax you heaps and give you a major rush of dopamine?
And the only difference between opiates and sedatives was that sedatives don't give you dopamine.
