Recently, What do you find yourself ignoring the most in your lucid dreams?

Recently, what kind of things do you find yourself ignoring mostly in your lucid dreams? Make a list if you want to as well.

      -Small Items
      -Darkness
      -Uninteresting dream characters
      -Dream violence

I don't think small items really matter in dreams. But there is a possibility where you might stumble across a really cool looking item. So maybe it isn't so bad to try the treasure hunting idea in a dream. Reminds me of the TOTM about opening presents.

The only things that come to mind are

-Uninteresting/Unhelpful/Annoying dream characters. (Particularly small children seem really annoying in my dreams.)

-Causing damage to property. (Doesn't matter its me or someone else doing it)

I usually end up ignoring what ever I wanted to lucid dream for in the first place haha. I then usually proceed to fly around and engage in some manly activities

I find myself ignoring my need to stabilize and actually use some techniques to prolong the dream, mainly because I'm an idiot when I turn lucid.

When fully lucid I tend to ignore, well, everything: With waking-life self-awareness and memory totally in hand, I generally abandon the dream I am in and do my own stuff.

When not so fully lucid, though, I do just the opposite. I get involved in minutiae, pay attention to DC's, and try to take a moment to admire or consider the details of my dream, especially objects for sale in the shops and sidewalk booths that often appear in my dreams. I think what I tend to ignore most in these dreams is their backdrops -- landscapes, architecture/decor if I'm inside, etc. I probably shouldn't do that.

This is a good question BTW, DawnEye; sort of makes you think.

I always forget to recall details about waking life.
I have to try that next time, it would be very interesting to become aware of your waking life self, that would really narrow the gap between waking life and dreaming.

Sometimes when an event in the dream seems interesting at the time, I decide my dream goals aren't really important, which I kick myself for doing that in the morning. As for things inside the dream, now that you bring it up, I usually just look at the whole picture and don't really notice the interesting characters or objects that are everywhere. Maybe a good idea for my next dream is so slow down, stabilize, and observe.
