Lucid Dream "What is the meaning of life?" I asked

Had a Lucid dream last night where I decided to hover about 100 ft in the air and looked into the sky where I saw not the moon... but the Earth. I asked the dreamworld loudly, "What is the meaning of life?! and then I started falling towards the ground. I caught myself and asked again "What is the meaning of life?!" I started falling again and woke up.

Gravity? Attraction? Grounding? Up's and down's/rises and falls (sine wave of life...) Not meant to know? Ask a different question? Back to reality?

A lot could be interpreted from that sequence. Such a vague question though... maybe I need to be more specific

Maybe the expectation for an answer destabilized the dream too much.

I asked the same question in the past (in LD) and the answer was "To sing and dance.". I was too looking at the sky, but standing on the ground. But i think the answer would be different each time i ask.

Yea I think that's good possibility. I didn't have great control to begin with so it probably just sent it over the edge. I haven't had lucids in months because I stopped WBTB and didn't care too much about dreaming because I had too many other things going on... So I definitely think there is a rust factor.

Or maybe you're just not ready to know/ can't comprehend at this stage

Cool that you thought to ask that question though, try again, maybe next time ask a dream character?

In my first lucid dream I asked the sky to send me to my higher self, and shot up in the sky but then I ended up in a dungeon (in the sky) it was creepy but still cool as I was just happy to be lucid
When the state of dreaming has dawned,
Do not lie in ignorance like a corpse.
Enter the natural sphere of unwavering attentiveness.
Recognise your dreams and transform illusion into luminosity.
Do not sleep like an an animal.
Do the practice which mixes sleep and reality.

That is a beautiful mesaage. The expansion ones creativity though self-expression.
I also like the idea that the meaning of life is; to imagine the Grandest thought one-self can achieve and becoming it. From that reality you can imagine your self anew again!

I think that question will have a different answer to each individual because the meaning of life will hopefully be different to everyone. I never thought of asking that question but I will start and will reply my meaning back if I get one.

Letting go? The answer is specific to you. Perhaps, like you said, more specificity next time by asking "what is the meaning of MY life? What's my purpose?" etc. Interesting, though. I hope I get the chance to do that soon!

Last night I was able to LD. I was doing something stupid in the dream and decided I could utilize my LD more efficiently. So, I turned to the nearest character - a middle aged woman with dark red hair - and asked her what the meaning of life was. Her answer was in gibberish. This usually happens when I ask a DC a direct question.

When I asked the question: "What is the meaning of life?!" the deep voice reply: "Fucking nice ladies"

I probably wouldn't get an answer either cause I don't know the answer
