Thread: interesting dream

ok, i just woke up and had this dream about half an hour ago

i woke up in my bed, somehow knowing that it was a dream (my bed was on the other side of the room from where it actually is, but i didnt notice it then) so i got up out of the bed and stuck my finger through my hand, and sure enough, it went through. "alright, im dreaming" i thought to myself, so i set off to explore. i walked through my bathroom to my brothers room (we have a retardedly built house, and there is a bathroom between our rooms)(also, i had to pee, but we all know the risks of peeing while you are dreaming) so i walked past the bathroom into my brothers room. there wasnt really anything to do in there, but i noticed that his bed was on the wrong side of the room, too. i then left his room and walked down the hall into the kitchen. while in there, i decided to try out using my forcelike powers. i made random objects fly into my hand, just because i could. i then randomly chose the phone to fly into my hand, and while i was holding it, remembered that telephone thing that somebody was talking about. i remembered that they said the numbers had to be on the correct place on the phone, so i looked at the buttons, and realized that this is easier said than done. i tried to rearrange the numbers, but they kept jumping all around on the different buttons, and in fact, most of the time there were two numbers on each button. so, i got frustrated and decided that id do the phone thing later, in another dream. so i hung up the phone, and walked out the living room to the backyard (making objects fly into my hand all the way, just for the hell of it) once outside, i realized that it was night time, as it always is in my LDs. i didnt like that, so i decided to try the ultimate test on my powers, and make the sun rise. i concentrated all my strength on the horizon and pictured a sun coming up, and soon i saw a small light coming up on the horizon. now, this was no sun, but something else... i will try to describe it. imagine a crescent moon. now, you know how when there is a crescent moon, you can still see the dark part of the moon? well, right in the middle of that, there was an average sized star.
...if that makes any sense to you..
anyways, this was not the sun. and, although it was pretty, it didnt provide the daylight that i had hoped for. i finished using my powers and stopped rising it up, about 30° above the horizon. oh well, so its night time.. whatever. i then proceeded from my back yard to this little outside room i have at my house (its like a little room that is connected to the garage, but not the house) anyways, i went in there, where the lights were turned off. i thought i kinda wanted someone to talk to, or maybe i could summon my dream guide or something, so i thought to myself "when i turn on the light, there will be someone sitting on the couch" so, i turned on the light, and sure enough, there was someone sitting on the couch! it was my friend shana. certainly not anyone i expected, but it was someone nonetheless... anyway, as soon as i turned on the light she shouted "surprise!" then her sister cassie walked in the door, and then i realized that the room was full of people i knew. and they were throwing a surprise party for me

well, when this happened this is what went through my head:
"wait a minute, what is going on? am i really dreaming?" i thought that while having the above dream, i was actually (sleep)walking around my house, and wandered into here, where they woke me up! so, i actually thought that i was awake then, after having been sleepwalking. i realized that i was still wearing my underwear from when i crawled out of bed at the beginning of the dream.... so, i tried to act normal, and none of them really seemed to notice. then there was this one girl that i had never met before there, and someone who i knew introduced them to me, so i shook her hand, but then she started to walk away, and i realized that i was shaking another guys hand. "haha," he said, "i got you with the 'put my hand out when you are shaking someone elses hand, so you think my hand is their hand' trick!" so, then i laughed, and walked away... i was very embarassed, having just sleep walked into my own surprise party, so i went from there into my kitchen. then i realized that it kind of felt like i was still dreaming. i thought "hmm, maybe i am able to slip from walking around back into sleep walking" so, then i went into my kitchen to get something to drink, and while i was there, i saw this little kid that i knew. so i thought "ok, if im dreaming, then i will have the power to turn him into a little dog" and sure enough, he turned into a little cocker spaniel. he then came running up to me and jumping me in a very doglike manner, and i pushed him back, playfully... and i thought to myself "if i am actually sleepwalking, then there is actually this little kid trying to play with me, but i am thinking that he is a dog" (if you understand what i mean by that...) and as i was thinking about that, i woke up.
after i woke up, i realized that i was dreaming the WHOLE time, and was not actually awake when i thought i was. this made me mad

i dont really know why i wanted to share that.... BUT I DID!

does anyone ever have a dream where while in the dream, they wonder what their body in the awake world is doing, like sleepwalking, for example?
