I don't even know what other title I could even use. But let's get to the story, shall we?
This was a lucid like many others - I was looking for a suitable woman to have fun with so I took a ride in a cab to the city square. The taxi went through half the crowd there, throwing them in the air and I went out. I saw some acquaintances of mine and went by them. I went in a university.
The room was unlit, but outlines of the marble floors and stairs were pretty visible. The dream was becoming unstable. I thought that this was because I had only little time left, so I rushed and made it even more unstable. At one point I lost my eyesight, so I stabilized it again, barely.
I was going upstairs, but the stairs suddenly formed a wall. I couldn't pass. I jumped up and hanged on the ledge. I called for a DC to save me. I looked around. The halls were dark. I thought "This can only end well".
And I was right.
A guy came running with a chainsaw and started to swing it madly, cutting my arms several times. As a bunch of students passed by he hid the chainsaw and whistled (like he wasn't even trying). I yelled "Hello? He's disassembling me. Help?" but they just went away. The hall was no longer dark though. But I digress.
I used the chance to jump at him while he was distracted but he took me down and got in my face. I noticed the area around his mouth was covered in a shade of red that definitely didn't come from lipstick. He started to yell: "Why should I let you live? It's easier for me to kill you. Tell me why I should let you live. Tell me. Only one reason, come on, give me a reason not to kill you. TELL ME!"
I acquainted his face with my foot and sent him flying way down. He was still alive when he got to the floor. While I was getting up he said "And how would you like it if I did... this?"
He had set off a bomb timer. I started to run around like a madman but quickly discovered there wasn't only one bomb. There was one in front of every single classroom. I continued to run around trying to find a way out but couldn't. The countdown had come to an end...
And I woke up.
Worst thing about this dream? The crazy guy was my friend.
I was on a tightly packed airplane, observing from the third person view a guy who seemed to be a bad guy. Turns out I had the right feeling because he took an old man and strung him up (basically killed him) in front of everyone. Nobody even seemed too bothered, or even looked in that direction while the old guy was struggling for his life.
The villain then went in front of a mirror, with me hearing him think all the way there: "I'm the king of the world. Nobody can even touch me. I rule." and so on.
The "camera" then switched to the old man again. His face went slightly red and he took a breath like people who just stopped drowning do (you know that loud, throaty sound?). He went hercules-mode, pushed his hands against the ceiling and ripped the rope by pushing himself away from it while it was still around his neck!
He then walked toward the bad guy and started to bash him around and stretch him like a ragdoll. He did this for some 15 seconds or so and then suddenly disappeared.
The bad guy then stood up and had a look at a mirror. What he saw (and what I saw) was a wall of pure red fire, with a demonic face emerging from it shouting "MY MIGHT CANNOT BE MATCHED"
It looked like this picture, but the face was made of pure fire too.
When the demon was done talking the mirror went back to normal and I woke up.
If I was to analyze this, I think it would be pretty obvious even for me: Society is as evil as murderers because they ignore the evils around them, hellfire awaits for those who earn it and so on.
It was seriously the most vivid and realistic dream ever. I was at the apartment again and had to pee bad. I peed in the sink for some reason but still felt like I had to go again. I thought "But I just did that. This must mean I'm dreaming." and tried my standard reality check, pinched my nose and tried to breathe. But I couldn't. After a few tries I went in for the most certain one, got calm and looked at the mirror. Nothing changed. By now I was afraid that maybe I wasn't dreaming and raised my hand in front of me to count my fingers but the numbers didn't change. I looked at the mirror again but nothing happened. (if there was any change I didn't notice it)
Then I had a false awakening, I cursed at myself for missing what could have been the best dream ever. I then fell asleep within the dream and was back in front of the mirror.
I did the last reality check, and barely got my finger through my palm. I was then finally sure I was dreaming.
I stood there, in front of the mirror, stunned by the realism. "What was I supposed to do again?" I wondered for a while. "Right, of to the Moon we go." I leaped into the mirror but I was somehow stuck in nothingness. It was literally as if I was in pitch black darkness with a face or two popping up and disappearing. I then crash-landed into a cartoon (Dexter) and watched the main character talk about something. I asked "I screwed something up, didn't I?" and he responded with "You suuure did, son!" and laughed.
After that I was suddenly back at the apartment with a single book on the table in the main room. I read some of it (it didn't change as much as they usually do) and it said "Go out, there you will find seven (or six?) crows which will lead you to the Emperor of man"
I stood on the balcony for a while and saw some birds fly by. Then the ground started to fester with earthworms as one of them landed there and looked at me in the eye. I saw a cat inside and went in and I thought I heard the cat ask me to follow it. It jumped into the TV and I followed.
I found myself in what I can only describe as Hell itself, with the cat and myself standing on a bridge over a river of lava in front of an immense metal gate. The cat quickly changed into the Grim Reaper, which laughed at my naivety and surrounded me with small demons. By then I was no longer lucid. The reaper told me to witness the formation of the ultimate weapon and raised from nowhere a blacksmith table and the demons started to swarm around it. Some sort of a disk with a pentagram on it emerged and started to get glowing-hot and spin like mad but then calmed down. Two metal rods emerged and started to intertwine and form a shape but stopped during the process and went back in.
The reaper was furious and another one emerged (dressed in red?), laughing at the first one like it was the funniest thing ever. He asked him did he really think that a silly man like me could be the key and the first reaper had his servants attack the second one, which laughed at the attempt and then they all went away, leaving me confused and pretty terrified.
I don't know how I got lucid but I did. I was walking ahead of a long line of people along an old road which ended on an entry to a hill. I descended down the hill and I noticed the road was damaged badly and a part was open, exposing some tunnel down below. I thought I'd go check it out and jumped in and found myself underground. Empty rooms were everywhere and one makeshift bed was there. "I'd bet the homeless gather here" I thought. A thought about how convenient this place would be for an ambush by a bunch of monsters ran through my head but I got it off my mind because what you think about usually happens (especially the bad stuff).
I saw one stairway and went up. As I climbed everything turned pitch black until I bumped into a metal door barred with some spiked wire. I walked through them (awesome) and found myself in a military base. I was in a room like an office with glass doors. I saw a soldier on the stairway next to it who screamed "How did he get here!?" and ran off to get reinforcements. I looked around and saw that I'm near the part of the office near a coffee table with two seats on which there was a box with orange powder, some USB devices and two glass slides. Then I just sat down and waited. 10 seconds later some seven commandos armed with sub-machine guns barge in the room with the guard in the middle.
The guard was panicking, pacing around waving his gun and asked questions "How much did he see? Did he take anything?" while I held my hands up in the air, letting them think they got me.
Then I got up and said"It doesn't matter if I took anything", taking some of the powder and putting it on a glass slide, then covering it with the other "because all of this" I waved my hand around "is already mine" (as in in my mind so it's mine). The soldier looked at me, confused. I started walking toward him and said "as are you." He was startled and just stared at me and I knocked him out with a punch to the head and walked away with the glass slides.
This was a rather complicated one. It started in the belly of a giant monster. Not just me, dozens of others. Unlike many others, I made a run for it and, after liberating a fair maiden from falling into the clutches of an acid pool, made a leap out of the mouth of it. I was some 15 stories high mid air, going towards an old brick skyscraper (of sorts) and barely grabbed hold of a window. I looked behind me and lo and behold - it was Godzilla itself. A giant monster the size of a small village, clawing and running around. Fortunately it gave up chasing me when it destroyed most of the building I landed in. I then descended to the street and saw something remarkably... well, remarkably unremarkable. The streets were desolate and worn out, in a way. And not just from a giant dinosaur I just got away from.
Electrical light was nowhere to be found and the only people I've met were a group of incredibly annoying adolescents. They told me I don't deserve to live because I have nothing to contribute to this "society" of theirs. Seeing as they are as civilized as the Vandals, I raged for a minute about all the scientific and other things I knew. I left, still angry and one told me "you know much, you will survive easier in this world", to which I replied "yeah, my extensive knowledge of theoretical physics will aid me greatly" and walked away.
Seeing as I still had my cell phone in my pocket (along with my headphones) I decided to go for some music while the battery is still good, but my friends (real ones) interrupted me and we went to look for something. We ended up in a basement flooded with cola-colored fluid (no waves whatsoever. The fluid formed a "solid" block which blocked the entire basement. Sticking my hand into it was... incredible). Since we were supposed to get in I was told to better put my cell phone in some small hole in the wall.
[note: basement, obstacles and some other elements were a part of a dream scenario I've been working on (accessing my "subconscious archives" - a fresh idea of mine - through a maze of increasingly complex gates and safe deposits in a sterile government-like laboratory-maze)]
I did so but we never got in. We got out, actually and I was left alone. I went for a walk in this desolate world and was attacked by a small dinosaur-thingy. I tackled it (to my surprise) and carried it and drowned it in the pool of liquid. Carrying the corpse I saw that giant Godzilla-thing, getting down on the floor and putting one of its giant clawed arms on the floor. I thought it wanted its offspring so I gave it the corpse.
Then I decided I've had enough and went for my cellphone. I wanted some music and I wanted it right now. I got into the basement - and the solid fluid pool fell apart. My cell was wet. "I knew it!" I said (with a couple of swear words involved here and there) and got the headphones on. I turned the music on. Beautiful.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"Classical. I doubt there any orchestras made it through to here, and if the world is falling apart I'm going to enjoy every moment of this I possibly can." (which was until my phone dropped dead - and that, fortunately, didn't happen during this dream)
And then I walked around, listening to my own subconscious making me music while smiling so much my face would hurt if I tried it in real life.
The only things lost were electricity and Vivaldi, it seems. I know it hurt more knowing I'd never hear one of his works again then not having any of these fancy glowy things we are surrounded with now.
