    1. I would definitely agree, I'm familiar with this line of thought. I believe that the dreaming mind is always active to an extent, it just gets pushed into the background when our bodies have physical external input to deal with. I think that it's responsible for our imagination/visualizations, our fantasies and desires, and our drive to learn more. And also for, like you say, how our thoughts effect our reality... emotions, perceptions, and even things like the placebo effect. Interestingly, if you remove the part of the brain required for dreaming subjects also lose all motivation and emotions are severely blunted. Without our dreams we're just machines taking in the physical world without any real mind. I'll take a look at that Youtube channel some time.
    2. Thats understandable. I feel the same way. I feel like the difference between waking life and a dream is small. The only difference is that thoughts don't effect waking life as drastically compared to a dream but even so thoughts DO effect this world to to an extent. Our dreams change based off of our beliefs, emotions, expectations(though some unexpected things do occur). Similarly how we perceive reality changes based on our beliefs, emotions and expectations. This is why people can go through the same exact situation but get a totally different experience from it. If it helps I watch a guy on youtube that talks about this stuff. His name is rich2150x. You should check out his vids when you have the time.
    3. That's interesting about psi, that's the first I've really heard about it. I have an interest in astral projection as well, though I don't really have any solid beliefs about it yet. I have done it at least once by accident, just a very short one. I do believe in learning from dreams and out-of-body experiences, and I'm very much an explorer and analyst. Though I do get distracted sometimes by the ability to control things in lucids, what really interests me in them is being able to see as much of that world as possible. Honestly, I really just want to be someone who wanders through other realities.... A lot of the time I've felt like this world is the one that's an illusion, the one I'm trapped in while the dream and astral worlds are the places that feel like home. That's pretty much my main spiritual focus right now, trying to get better at inducing these experiences so I can feel free.
    4. I am interested in Astral projection. I don't think it is the same as a lucid dream. I want to Astral Project into the higher planes and find out more about myself, talk to the entities there and learn why we are on planet earth, etc. I also am interested in PSI/CHI/etc it has many other names. I am interested in being able to control this subtle energy. From what I've read, psi is created and manipulated by thought or perhaps it IS thought. Once you make a psi construct you can program it to do various task like follow you around, move an object, gather energy on its on, emit cold or heat, heal someone and anything else you can think of. So what are your spiritual interests?
    5. Aw, well you're welcome, I'm glad to have provided you with that opportunity. Truth be told I'm new to the concept myself, but I'd heard that there was a demand for a Tulpa forum around here so I told ShockWave he could fund it through my executive account and take charge. I also haven't started working on creating one yet because I'm just focused on so many other things, especially related to dream stuff like yourself, and I just don't think it's the greatest move for me right now. Definitely an interesting subject though, it makes you think. What other kinds of spiritual stuff are you interested in?
    6. Just looking around to see whats new and I noticed the Tulpa forum. I am in to a lot of spiritual stuff but never have I heard of a Tulpa. So it's like taking a part of your consciousness and 'seperating' it from you and it becomes its own personality after awhile and you can talk to it. Very interesting! I should try this one day but I am doing a lot of dream yoga stuff right now so I might create my tulpa and kill it by accident due to forgetting. So I'll hold off but it does seem very interesting. Thanks to you I learned something today.
