    2 Lucids in One Night!

    by eMCLucid on 07-17-2012 at 05:29 PM
    First off, I'd like to thank Kraom for mentioning the SSILD technique to me, and whoever mentioned the underwater breath-holding technique on #DVA last night. Now, I did not wake up to journal these techniques (since I was trying to chain dreams together via the DEILD technique), but here is what I remember.

    I woke up 5 hours after falling asleep. Began to do the SSILD reps, and when I fell back asleep, I was in a wildly vivid dream. I knew I was there for a reason, sort of a half-lucidity. Eventually I decided it was time to take full control of the dream. The setting was in this wooded area, with log houses and dirt roads. I was flying down the dirt roads and hurling fire at the houses, so I was lucid for most of the dream, yet I never had that "Eureka" moment when I go directly from non-lucid to lucid in an instant, often waking me up. Anyway, walk into a house, and there is a dark room. I remember writing on Monday that I wanted to speak with my Anima. I yelled out "I want to talk to my Anima!" This was astonishing for 2 reasons:
    1) I've never yelled out or really used my dream voice before when lucid.
    2) When I did this, a wave of color swept over the room.
    There in front of me, stood my best female friend from high school. She started talking, but I couldn't make out the words, and the dream faded rapidly.

    Normally this is where I wake up. Not this time!
    I layer completely still and didn't open my eyes. HI started engulfing my vision, and soon enough, I was in another dream! The only thing I remember about this lucid is that I had sexy time with a smoking hot girl

    First False Awakening

    by eMCLucid on 07-14-2012 at 12:54 AM
    I woke up early this morning and went back to sleep. I thought I woke up again, and was just laying in bed. All of a sudden, a voice came out of nowhere (sounded like the voice of Barney Stinson, which makes sense because I was watching How I Met Your Mother before I went to bed last night) and said "You're dreaming." I was immediately overwhelmed by excitement and realized the voice was right. I sprung up and stood (or maybe floated) on the bed. I was in a dark room, with no furniture or anything on the walls. I was about to spin around, but the dream quickly destabilized and I woke up.

    2nd Lucid in a Row!

    by eMCLucid on 07-07-2012 at 05:36 PM
    I'm very pleased to say I had my 2nd lucid in 2 nights last night! The conversation and reading in DV must be helping, and I thank you all.

    So I begin the dream driving in my car, looking for a version of a song on my iPhone that was done by an old friend of mine. Keep in mind, he's neither a musician nor someone I currently talked to. After not being able to find it, I quickly realize I'm dreaming. I keep driving around, and eventually pull into a house at a corner, trying to envision my friends being there before I get out of the car. I get out, and Jonah Hill walks out the door! Two of my old friends from high school pull up next to my car as I step out. As soon as I get out of the car, I spin around to try to stabilize the dream (a technique that I forgot last night). Not sure if it worked, I start floating around in the air, doing summersaults and backflips mid-air in his driveway. Jonah keeps telling us to come inside, as he's watching a Steelers vs Rams game. I know this because I looked down and saw I was wearing a Ben Roethlesberger jersey (which I don't own in waking life), and he had a rams jersey. I could see the TV in his garage, but I was having too much fun floating and flying around the driveway. Eventually, I floated up to the 2nd floor deck type of thing. I decided to spin again to try to stabilize the dream more. This time, it backfired. Instead of stabilizing it, the world started spinning as usual. I opened my eyes, and I was back in bed. Did a reality check in the hopes of a false awakening. Nope, wide awake.

    My First FILD

    by eMCLucid on 07-06-2012 at 06:02 PM
    Last night, I was successful in having my first FILD (finger induced lucid dream). After doing the finger movements, I plugged my nose to reality check, and I could breath!

    Everything was dark at first, but I remained calm, and a beautiful scene materialized around me. The scene formed a long, bleach white path way, with symmetrical white streetlights on each side. My brother was also there from the start. I told him I was lucid, and he did not seem to realize he was a dream character. We started walking down the path, and I saw a shiny, box shaped white house on the left of the path. I told him, "Hold on, I'll be back in five minutes." He voiced his disapproval, but nonetheless, I opened the door into the house. The hallway, like the rest of the dream scene, was very glossy and white. To my left was yet another door, and I opened it and walked through. It looked to be a bedroom from the short glance that I got at it. As soon as I entered, the dream destabilized. I felt overwhelming frustration with myself at this point, knowing this is how my lucids typically end, yet not having done anything supernatural within the dream yet. Next thing I knew, I was awake.

    First Entry

    by eMCLucid on 07-05-2012 at 09:30 PM
    I've been keeping a dream journal on and off for the last 2 months, and have now decided to document my dreams on DV in order to be more consistent in my lucid dreaming progress. I've had a total of 4 lucid dreams since I started, all DILDs. This entry will detail my longest, most vivid lucid dream to date.
    Blue = Dream
    Red = Lucid

    The dream began in an old house. I was "captured" by a bunch of frat guys. They brought me into a very large room and told me to sit down on an old couch, near the center of the room. They seemed angry, and one of the larger guys kept drawing his fist back, pretending that he was going to punch me. I was clearly being interrogated, which I assumed was for being in their house. Eventually, they made me, and 15-20 other people around my age,(a few who I recognized) line up along the wall and do push-ups. There wasn't a lot of room and I kept bumping into the others, which frustrated me greatly. Suddenly, something snapped. I thought in my head, "I'm dreaming!" I stood up, not bothering to perform a reality check. I began to walk across the room to the door which I came in from. I looked down at my hands, attempting to conjure a fireball to hurl at the dream character aggressors. It did not work, but a small gust of air formed between my hands. I shot it at the door and it flung open. I walked in, and saw 5 or 6 of the aggressors just standing there, confused. I began breaking off pieces of furniture with my hands, and hurling the pieces at them. Every throw was a dead-on hit. One by one they went down, until there were none left standing. I walked outside, and immediately spun around to prolong and stabilize the dream. This worked very well, as the scene became more vivid. I then made my way to the back yard of the house, and tried to fly. At first, it didn't work, but I tried again, then realized I was floating up near the third story of the house. I was quite excited, for this was the first lucid dream that I didn't wake up immediately from at the point of gaining lucidity. I flew over to a window, to attempt to manifest a dream character. Sitting at the window sill, I thought to myself, "Behind that door inside is a very attractive girl." Nothing happened, but I looked down at the bed in the room, and the sheets started to move! Out from under them came a good friend (female) that I knew from High School. I was completely shocked that I had so easily manifested a character in my dream. She began to speak to me, and the scene immediately destabilized. Everything starting spinning, the colors blending together. I soon woke up, and could not fall back to sleep due to the sheer excitement from the experience I'd just had.
