    1. Alright sweet! Thanks, and I'll give WBTB WILD'ing a shot tonight, although it's already 3 AM here... xD I'll wake around 7 and hopefully be able to wake enough so that I don't just say "fuck it" and turn off the alarm haha. Wish me luck!

PS - I'm using MILD + Listening to Subliminal Dreaming 2.0 from here at DV, maybe it'll aid me in getting lucid with the WBTB WILD
    2. It's no problem! And when you are WILDing it's best to wake up 3-7 hours after you have been asleep instead of trying it right when you're about to go to bed. And basically, like I said, you go to sleep like you normally would but keep your mind awake. Think about the scene you want to go to. So with that picture you posted I would first visualize it in my head. Pay attention to what everything looks like. Then I would imagine it moving. Maybe a little bit of wind, a bird flying over the castle. Then I physically try to feel myself standing there. I visualize walking across the water, climbing up the bridge, and walking towards the castle. As you go deeper into sleep the dream images will just naturally start to pop up and before you know it you're actually there in the dream! It can take some practice but it's easy once you get the hang of it. Don't expect it to work in just a couple of days. Stick with it!
    3. Hey man, sorry to keep asking newbie questions.. if you are too busy to answer this I get it, but if you'd like to anyway, here it is:

I'm about to go to bed. I've been doing quite a few RC's all day at standardized times, and when I can remember, every time I walk through a door. But my biggest question is when I'm laying here trying to get to sleep, how is it that you're able to just "go into" the dream scene that you see in your head? Like if I wanted to become a part of this scene, how would I do it:

      Thanks for reading,

    4. Well WILDing works for some people but definitely is not for everyone. If you're still up to try it, the main thing is not focusing on staying still so much. Just move when you feel the need to and don't worry about it. Just fall asleep normally physically but mentally stay awake. As for the RCs, come up with a pattern. Don't just do a RC randomly throughout the day, you should have a reason. For example: do a reality check every time you walk through a door. Or if you notice a certain theme in your dreams whenever you see something related to that theme in real life, reality check.
    5. Thanks for the prompt response! I personally find it very hard to WILD, because I have a tendancy to want to move around a lot when trying to get to sleep. My legs get hot on the sheets then I want to move them to a new place etc. In addition to that.. I have a bit of an odd problem with my dreams. When I'm dreaming, no matter how strange and surreal it gets, I NEVER remember to do RC's. Even though in waking life I do sincere RC's almost every hour about 8-9 times a day, I never remember to do it in a dream. Any ideas?
    6. Hi! V-WILD stands for visualization wake initiated lucid dream. It's a method I use a lot and is just a variation of the WILD technique. If you have a good imagination and can visualize things well, definitely give it a shot! Here is a link to my guide talking about V-WILD: dreamviews.com/wake-initiated-lucid-dreams-wild/128996-mancons-simple-visualization-wild-technique.html

Hope this helps and best of luck!
    7. I've had extremely good dream recall (this morning I posted a DJ about 3 dreams I had last night). I'm hoping this V-WILD method could help expedite me a lucid dream, and I could then begin to explore the Dream Academy Castle grounds.

Please write back, I'm eagerly waiting!

      Thanks,

    8. Hey there!

I was just reading your DJ entry about the TOTM for June, where you went para-sailing with Mr. Scissorhands, and also your November turkey hunt. I notice that you used V-WILD for both lucid dreams. I was curious as to what V-WILD is, and where I can learn more about it. I googled and searched but couldn't find anything except for one method involving a special kind of watch that vibrates every 42 minutes and was made for the deaf.

I've only had one successful lucid dream (about a year or so ago) and just started getting back into it about a week ago, and have been doing all sorts of techniques for RC's and general awareness, such as the 'nose plug' 'finger through hand', checking my surroundings for lighting or unusual things, and lastly looking at something and trying to "will" it to change colors.
