I'm 18

I found out about the concept of lucid dreaming accidently one day. I was bored and just typed into google "Can you control your dreams?" I chuckled to myself thinking this was not possible. I'm glad I was wrong!

Since then I researched all about lucid dreaming and the ideas behind it. I've used different methods such as WILD and DEILD's. I believe that Lucid dreaming is a skill, something to be productive with. Harnessing this skill could be benifical to us as people. Maybe dreaming is a way in which we can reach our true potentials?

I've heard of success stories where several famous people have had epiphanies and understood that changed our views of the world.

Who?

Dmitri Mendeleev- the man who came up with the periodic table that revolutionised the way chemists understand element, the guy dreamt it.

Fredrich August von Kekule (German chemist) gave the chemical structure of the element Benzene, which had baffled scientists for years. Although proven to not be entirely true, he wasn't far off.

Could dreams be visions?

Abraham Lincoln was said to have dreamt his death...

I wholeheartedly believe dreaming is a way of communication at a deep level. I've had many good ideas from dreaming also, because it helps us to understand thinks from a different point of view. Or sometimes experience them.

As a DC once told me: "Dreamness is mysticness..."
