Recurring Dream throughout life - on the run and being hunted

Last night I had a vivid dream that I've had countless times throughout life, usually 2-3 times a year. Just for some background information I'm male, 21 years old and finishing University in a month or so which I assume is probably quite relevant to the dreams.

Anyway in my dream last night, I was in a nice middle class suburb of England running from zombies. I say running but it was more me stealthily climbing over fences in the night and sneaking through gardens to evade the zombies, there were two people with me (a man and a woman) who I don't recognise and who were middle-aged. It felt like I was leading them to safety, I was in charge and I was physically fitter and mentally more switched on than them. After climbing through a few gardens it felt like we were away from the main horde and we could see fields and forest to which it seemed like the safest place to escape to, we just needed to go through a few a couple more gardens. After planning and deliberating the best route I start to run towards the fields. At this point the two people with me have disappeared with no explanation, they just dont feature in the dream anymore.

Once I get to the dry-stone wall that goes around one of the fields, there is a white horse in the field that is incredibly hostile to me just like the zombies. I chases me however cannot get to me because of the wall separating us. I feel vulnerable out in the open so I start running down the country lane so I can hop over the wall into a different field were the horse cannot get me. When I'm running I'm looking over my shoulder watching the horse chase me on the over side of the wall when I notice a car speeding down the road. I dive over the wall on the other side of the road (opposite the horse side) and hide. The car comes to a stop next to where I'm hiding and I stand up and tap on the back window. The occupants let me inside. They are a male and a female, around my age and seem friendly and I feel semi-relieved. (throughout the dream I feel on edge and never completely safe.) Another car pulls up and the male explains to me this is some sort of bandit guy who keeps taking their stuff. At this point I'm semi aware that I'm dreaming, and decide I can't be bothered with this added stress and wake up.

Throughout the dream I'm never frightened, more just focused and exhilarated. There is a huge sense of freedom that I quite enjoy. I cant remember much of the dreams I've had in the past but the themes that recur are that I'm on the run and being hunted, either by zombies or the army, and I have these amazing feelings of freedom and adrenaline. This feeling is at its most intense when I'm running through the forest or the countryside and it is here that I seem to be trying to escape to. The dreams always end up the same, I end up being cornered or caught and I seem to become aware that I'm dreaming, say "F**k this" and make myself wake up.

Just interested to know what peoples thoughts are on this.
