Thread: Rape dreams 4 nights in a row?

Hey there. So, I have occasional nightmares of rape. I get them every now and then, but normally not often enough to really notice. I've never been raped or sexually assaulted myself, and I'm not in any immediate danger of having that happen by someone I know or am close to. And I haven't read or heard of anyone being raped or sexually assaulted recently.

Lately I've been having them often. 4 nights in a row so far. Always by men I either don't know or can't see because their full features are fuzzy from the dream. What's always true in these dreams is that I'm never actually "entered" during the attack. It's normally implied that it will happen, hence "rape", but I get away or the dream ends or the dream shifts to something else in the story. This last night though, during the dream my attacker actually FULLY raped me. When I woke up I was shocked. Not scared, but shocked. If anything was ever true of my dreams, that never happens. I have no idea what to make of it, any ideas? Thanks ><
