i rescently broke my leg pretty badly in a hockey game and have been on a bunch of pain killers and been takin a good dose of melatonin before bed in order to try to get a good night sleep. the melatonin hasnt helped me sleep, i normally wake up atleast 10 times in the night because of the pain, but i can remember atleast 5 of my dreams as though they happened five minutes ago the next day, but every night atleast one of my dreams is some how related to me not being able to play hockey or some sport.
iv had a dream where i travled to another state and forgot my skates so i couldnt play, another one where i got my skates sharpened before the game and the guy doing the sharpening broke them so i couldnt play, one dream where i fell asleep in the locker room and missed the whole game, i had a dream that i got on the ice and right away got kicked out of the game, everynight its a new way of not being able to play,
i have only had 3 lucid dreams so i cant really change what im dreamin about right now, nay other ideas of how to get rid of these annoying dreams?

i dont like to think of my self as being a dreams expert but for one the medication isnt helping. for two where you have broken your leg badly there is no way at this point in time you cant play hockey, the pain in the night may be reminding you this therefore triggering of your dreams about you not being able to play.

sorry about not being a great help i can only give an explanation if i can find a way to help i will get back to you.
