Thread: Recurring Dreams

Over the past year that I have been keeping track of my dreams, I have a lot of dreams involving theme parks and roller coasters. I always assume it is Worlds of Fun (an amusement park close to where I live and I've been to the most). I am usually there with a group (many times my family) and something always seems weird about the roller coasters. For example, one thing I've seen a couple times is that the roller coasters don't have trains, people just drive their cars onto them.

I also remember a recurring dream from when I was younger. I don't have it anymore but I figured some insight to what it might have meant would be interesting. I was in the big backyard behind my house and a large pack of dogs were chasing me. The first time I had the dream I was all the way back at the end of the yard and I wouldn't make it very far (as most of you probably know, you can't run when you really need to in dreams.) Eventually the dogs would be right behind me and the dream would end. Everytime I had the dream I started from where I left off the previous time and the dogs would be far back again. The last time I had the dream I had made it all the way up to the backdoor just to find that it was locked.

Aww man that really does suck. I honestly have so many dreams in which im trying to run and it feels like im wading through waist deep water. Its normal, its a part of the fear. But when you can become lucid, turn around and kick them wild dogs into space!
