A recurring dream which came half-true.

I had a recurring dream about 4 or 5 times, and I was interested in getting some feedback. Mind you, this story involves drugs, so I'm not too sure if it's frowned upon here or not. If it is, I apologize in advance, and feel free to delete this thread.

Anyway - At the time, one of my friends had been selling weed, and I was a regular user. I had a recurring dream where I was with my friend, and the police caught us with it, but I managed somehow to slip through the cracks, and my friend was arrested. This same dream plot occured about 4 or 5 times with different settings. I was really convinced that this was some message from God or something that my friend would get busted, so I told him and tried to urge him to stop selling.

In the end, I ended up getting busted, because my new roommate in the college dorms ratted me out to the cops. Needless to say, I had to suffer some unwanted consequences as a result of that which changed my life radically.

The recurring dream lied to me because I got busted and not my friend. What's up with that?

      Hi
The dreams aren't something that tells you what's going to happen. They are made in our heads and usually show what we were thinking during the day in some (bizarre) way. Also,I think, dreams don't(necessary) have a meaning, it's people who try to bring some meaning to dreams.

Yea thats what I thought, until I had this recurring dream. I just can't dismiss this as coincidence. Is it just wishful thinking that I hope I have some kind of power to be able to dream about the future?

      Most likely yes.

But if you think those dreams do mean something it's only you, who can fully understand what it is. After all they are your dreams
