Saw this the other day, pretty interesting stuff. I have to admit, the first time I saw "time crystals" I thought I was reading some kind of parody news site or something. The concept surrounding them is definitely pretty cool though.

I think that makes it unique enough to be interesting, if for nothing else but the novelty of it.
This seems pretty mindblowing to me, and this article started me on a wormhole of theoretical physics articles and stuff about the universe. Really like new matter? Just so much interesting research and information its hard to keep up :shock:
And I don't quite understand it but there's implications for time crystals and quantum computing, so there's not only the novelty but practicality as well.
