      Simpsons VS Family Guy

I dont want you to just vote give a theolghical rason and discuisson for ur dissicion. I like the simpsons here is mt reason.

First the Simpsons have been around a longer time
The Simpson has new jokes (you fold faster than superman on laundry day)
The Simpsons is the best satire sicne Mad Maginize (wait or is that a parady?)

      Reason sagianst Family Guy

first off I think most kids or teens like Family Guy better than Simpsons because its not as staire and more of silly and more cussing violence and or course anaminted nudity in which most teens think is cool. I like Family Guy and I amit it has some epsiodes thats satirest but alot of it is just nonsense jokes.

Plz reply (dont think anyone started this post before i looked.... a little)

      I agree about the Simpsons.

Which one is the family guy?The one where the dad's chin looks like a man's nutsack - or the one where the guy is a CIA agent? Either way, those two shows are pretty hilarious (and I was very skeptical when they came out).

Last weeks line from the alien in the family nearly made me crap my shorts:

The dad's father (wearing eyepatch) sees alien in the kitchen and tackles him down onto the floor. The alien looks up at the guy and says "will someone tell Snake Pliskin to get off of me?!"

Freakin priceless reference from Escape from New York!

I vote for Family Guy. All the Simpsons episodes are already classics and got old by now since the good ones are always rerunning, and the new ones have much less good jokes in them. Family Guy is still funny though, and it can make me laugh so hard.

The first one you mentioned is Family Guy -- the second one, the one with the alien, is called American Dad. Both are headed by Seth McFarlane, though.

      Family Guy!

Why? More laughs per minute than any show, ever.

The Simpsons really have overstayed their welcome. They should've quit while it was still funny a la Seinfeld.

I've heard that The Simpsons Movie is going to be the finale.

you say, "teens like family guy because it has animated nudity and cussing and violence." Broha, you're thinking of south park. Teens like THAT because of the animated nudity and violence and cussing. Family guy has it, but when it is used, it is used sparingly and cleverly. Family guy had some really effing hilarious jokes in it, and I can't understand how you say it doesn't "satire things very much." I used to love simpsons more than anything else, but yeah, it gets old. Also, when you start watching family guy for a while it is so much funnier.

The Simpsons may go down as the best animated series in TV History. That's if it doesn't get run into the ground.

I have not tuned in for the last 5 seasons or so, but I've been told the decline of quality has increased significantly.

I started watching Family Guy when it was first shown on a Simpsons episode as the worst family ever. Anyone remember that? Well for me, Family Guy is so much better

There's only been one episode that I thought tried too hard.

I would have to say the simpsons Is the best one of both. DonŽt get me wrong, they both are good, but the simpsons latests seasons really suck the hell out of life, either they should get new writers or fire the ones they have . But all of the early episodes are great, not just the catch frases but the social criticism. And family guy is great too, but they are no match against the simpsons first to me. LoveŽem both for a good laugh

      Family Guy

      Family guy because:
      Peter is a man's man.
      The neighbors are funnier.
Stewie is the funniest character on TV.
      Seth Green does Chris' voice
The chick from That 70's Show does Meg's voice
Alex Bornstien from MAd TV does Lois' voice
and Lois is a hottie and puts up with Peters crap, and she's loaded.
And because of clips like this:
