How close are you to falling asleep when this happens? I noticed that you mention getting out of bed. Also, where does the sound seem to be coming from? |

I'm almost ready to see a doctor for this. I have been hearing all these loud booms after 10pm at night and I don't know if I'm having Exploding head syndrome and I'm hallucinating these noises, or if there's something else going on. I'm tired and I've been reading on my phone since I can't get to sleep but I'm still tired. Is the noise a result of EHS? |

I was extremely tired and was about to turn my phone off and try to get some sleep when the noises started. The banging was what kept me from getting to sleep. |

Are you already not well-rested (currently suffering from sleep deprivation)? This could be only getting 4-5 hours of sleep a night when you normally sleep around 8 if you can. |
