    Sleep Paralysis = Lucid Sleeping.

Once I was abducted by aliens, some other time I was raped by a demon, some other time I was being choked by an evil little boy, some other time I was run over by a truck that hit the wall of my bedroom, etc... All of those were sleep paralysis experiences. I feel sorry for those guys who are so obsessively convinced that they are abducted by aliens and won't accept any other explanation. I'm not rejecting the hypothesis that aliens visit us, but clearly most of these abductions from bed are simply sleep paralysis.

When I first heard about sleep paralysis, it seriously freaked me out of not wanting to attempt WILD or any of its variants. This has not helped me and probably made it worse

I have a feeling the "Aliens" are closely related to The Old Hag. I have experienced the floating and spinning before I was aware what SP was and it was very scary.

This leads me to believe that "alien abductees" aren't just looking for attention, but may be having a pretty bad lucid nightmare! Very interesting.

There are a few things about this video that I dislike. It builds so much negative stigma and fear around Sleep Paralysis.

It is important that anyone who watches this video know that most of the frightening experiences portrayed in this video likely stem simply from the fear of being paralyzed and vulnerable to your imagination.

Sleep paralysis is something that all lucid dreamers must learn to embrace because it is one of the most essential stages in the process of gaining lucidity.

As a practicing lucid dreamer, once you have voluntarily entered sleep paralysis, especially through a WILD technique, you will learn to acknowledge that this is simply a bodily process, a simple procedural disconnect of motor control.

If you can maintain a positive state of mind through sleep paralysis, you should have little to fear.
