Question Another WILD attempt - strange goosebumpy chills??

I just tried a mid day WILD. I hit the wall I always seem to hit, which is right after SP sets in, which is very frustrating, but here's what was different this time.

The room wasn't cold or anything, I was snuggled in bed in my duvet. Nevertheless, after I felt the fuzzy buzzing of SP setting in (it always sorta comes and goes for me, this time it was around my hands), I got waves of this strange feeling. The closest I can describe it is goosebumps, but strong ones, enough to make my nipples hard (LOL! Sorry if that's a little TMI for anyone). It's a very strange feeling when your body is completely numb. They radiated from my upper spine down my body more times than I could keep track of.

      Has anyone had this?

I've experienced something like that before, mainly rippling vibrations going from my stomach to my feet before; it actually tickled!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Woot! I am not alone... *breaks into song* ... You are here with me. Wait that's backwards. Anyway.
Thank you Puffin! Glad I'm not just some freak out in uncharted territory. But the question is - did you get through to dreaming after that feeling, or did it distract you too much? Mine didn't tickle, but I can imagine if it did it would be even harder to concentrate than it was!

Also, while I've got you, oh Dream Goddess extraordinaire, there's something I've been wondering.
I've read that once you pass the SP stage that you're supposed to start to picture or visualize yourself somewhere but without too much detail - like walking down a beach for example. This is supposed to 'help' the dream materialize around you. Until I read that after today's experience, I didn't know that's what I was supposed to be doing. If so that could be the reason that I just sit there feeling floaty, waiting for my brain to come up with something. I'm waiting for it, and it's waiting for me.
Do you agree that a LD in a WILD needs to be kick started by the person or no?

I broke out of it within twenty seconds because it tickled so bad. I began laughing. n_n'

As for your question, my personal suggestion is to help the process along as much as you can, as passively as possible. If a dream starts to materialize by itself, you can visualize more detailed aspects of it. If nothing happens, obviously you should keep relaxing into the SP and start visualizing things by yourself.

Ok, then that's what I will do... try to get in some simple visualizations. The passive aspect of it will be a challenge, but it's got to be better than laying around in the blackness feeling floaty and frustrated! Thank you Puffin.

On the same subject, I've been experiencing the same thing, but instead of cold and tingly, I feel uncomfortably hot and tingly. Any suggestions?
