      Is this WILD?

Hi, I was wondering if you all could help. I have been trying to WILD, and am not sure if I'm successful or if I'm daydreaming or something other than LD?

I can fall asleep very easily in the morning/daytime. I am very familiar and not scared of twitching and heart rate changes, lights, loud sounds - all are pretty familiar. I meditate and wonder if some of the things I've seen have been LDs?

Anyway, here's what happens: I relax, feel myself slipping into sleep, twitches, my body humming, lights, etc, and try to remain aware while guiding a "dream". While it isn't planned out, it's like a dream, but I'm not sure?

I don't get strong vibrations but do get the weight on my chest and a feeling of coldness on my legs. I get sleep paralysis and am not scared of it, I just don't know what I should expect?

Today I asked for a dream about my life path. A girl with red hair flying a kite asked me to follow her. We ended up first at a yellow cottage (I've always wanted a yellow house and love cottages), then at a metaphysical shop (very much want) to which she said this can be yours. Then I was teaching classes in a park, then at my computer designing metaphysical products for a product line. I was startled out once BC I spilled water in my dream and it was so real - but I don't remember that as well.

Is this something else? Any advice is much appreciated!

It is a WILD if it is a lucid dream prior to which you lucidly witnessed the transition from waking to dreaming.

The twitchs are called hypnic jerks.

The various things you see, feel, and hear while transitioning into the dream are called hypnagogic hallucinations.

The difference between hypnagogic hallucinations and dreams is that you are awake during the former and asleep during the latter.

Expect the dream itself and the possibility of experiencing any of the wide variety of hypnagogic hallucinations. But don't concern yourself with any requirement of experiencing hypnagogic hallucinations. Experiencing them is not a requirement of WILDing. The dream itself is your goal so focus on that.
