Hi there. |

OK, I've found out that associations game works for me as a mental anchor. I play and dream starts to form. But then I realize what is happening and nearly created dream disappears. So I need to improve passive observation, I need to remain self-aware and still let dream form. Any advice? |

I'm back! Again? Uhhh..
Two things: try the zen vision technique in sivason's dream yoga class. Second, place your awareness on something that allows you to remain aware of the images but not focused on them. You could try simply being aware of awareness (meditation without a support). You could also try a mantra. I only get the auditory hallucinations, but I like repeating a mantra. I focus on the mantra and allow the talking and sounds around me to get louder until a dream forms. But I don't focus on any of the sounds. So just sort if let the images form around you without paying them much attention. |

Elaol, I have the same problem. I am pretty good at DILD, having had over 200. Last night I had a DILD but disappointed myself by wasting time trying to get clothes off someone for sex. When I awoke, I wanted to have an LD and not waste it. I stilled my mind and next thing I knew I am on the same city location as my DILD was at, just down the street a bit. I dont think I lost consciousness... I don't experience SP or vibrations... I was just there, and in my normal mind, so I decided to walk, starting a nice LD. |
