Thats excellent man, its really cool :D
But I think it would work better if you included the colours Purple (those two colours seem to mix well).
Esp considering the sky could be any sort of colour within a Lucid Dream
Are there any other sort of fonts you could use cause it would be cool to use this in a sig.

I think it needs to have the same shades of blues as our header now to go along with the theme/skin of the forum. And I don't like the yellow text or font. Also if there is going to be an animating header it needs to have minimal motion otherwise it will be extremely distracting and people will get sick of looking at it. The words...dizzy and nauseous come to mind here.
we need to find out how skyworks did theirs
i like theirs alot

I like it. The font just plain sucks though. If the banner actually makes people dizzy, then slowing down the animation might help that

Well, we've played with the banner idea quite a bit, especially recently. But an animated banner really is a unique idea...
I mean, if done right, it could look very professional (the current one is a bit--well, nauseating. Too fast of an animation and it looks a bit pixelated and sketchy) Unfortunately, for 56k users, it'll bite big time. The site's new theme is hard enough to load, and even if the banner isn't huge, it still won't pop up as fast as the current one, ruining the look of the page with a blank spot while it loads.
If you slowed it down and altered the font (the current one is too...blah), then it'd be much better. Higher-res would be nice as well. Also, if you could do a more....swirly animation? I don't think that sounded quite how I meant it. I'd think that we'd want the banner to be more like a breezy day than a windstorm, since dreaming is usually thought of as peaceful and calm. To obtain the breezy effect, slowing the animation and adding slight whirlwinds to the clouds could work nicely.
Just my two cents
