Hmm... not sure exactly in what way you mean combining them, but how about using foods to make up the different parts of a bed or bedroom. For example, Jello for matress, marshmallow for pillow, etc.... You could go as far as have the person in the bed made of different fruits or vegetables and stuff.
Or, something more surreal - different foods walking around as living characters. kinda like --> :aphiusiscrazy: :cactus:
Since you are combining the world of sleep your boundaries of expression have widened.
a lot of composition rules can be stretched because you are working with the surreal.
I would say get your medium of choice and let it flow. See what happens.
Refine from there. What you feel will reveal itself.
cool, thanks, i'll try both, thanks for the help :D:D:D
maybe i'll do a large painting of
How about depicting a nightmare, in which you are the food and the banana man is eating you at the dinner table? :boggle:
Have a split painting where you can see a dieting person lying in bed with lots of diet food/diet manuals/scales/other typical diet equipment lying around the room, but wherein you can also see what they're dreaming, and they're holding up a knife and fork in front of a massive banquet table full of forbidden foods. Or variations on such an idea.
...Sounds more like a Far Side scenario than a proper subject for a piece of fine art, but use it if you'd like.
yeh, i know it is a bit far-sided, but i thiught something different would be good. them ideas are really good!banana man eating, huh, i'd like to see the day...
:goodidea:
i really like your idea about the person dieting and the dream of the ood, thats brilliant!!! u've got a really good imagination, thanks:D:D
