I'm an Architect, Artist & Designer. I'm classically trained, but nowadays I work with both physical and digital media (damn this modern world). If you guys need any help with specific stuff, I would be happy to help. I'm always mad busy, so I doubt I could organize anything too complicated. If you give me specifics, I will crank it out. |

They scared you away in 3 months? What happened? |

8-5 office sucks the life out of everything. Doesn't matter how much you love it. Just make shit and sell it. Or partner up with someone to make shit and sell it. You're in a field where you are actually selling your skills, not just your time. You can do things that few people on the planet know how to do. |
|
Haha. Cheers to that. |

Its just me and one other guy in our office. Then we have two people who work mainly from home and come in once a week to pick up work. I sort of work back and forth at home and in the office. Working from home always sounds good in theory. I just make such a legendary mess whenever I get into something. I need the space to make a mess at my house and at my office. I can't limit myself to just one location. |

We use it a lot for Architectural Design work. Its ease of use makes it handy for those times when you have to modify things in the middle of a meeting. You can really appreciate it when you compare it to something like Maya, which is a nasty bloated beast. |

They had me working with 3d studio max at my last job. I hated it. I used to bring my laptop into work so I could use my Cinema 4d, which I like a million times more. |
|
Yeah, Aquanina, I try to stay away from 3d Studio Max. I'm hoping it will lose its foothold in the next couple years while I ignore it. I had to learn it back in school, and I remember it being very clunky and archaic feeling. I've never tried Cinema 4d beyond messing with Bodypaint 3D a little. Is it everything its cracked up to be? I've heard its pretty amazing. |
|
Ah yes, Raytracer. I think the modeler I used was called Swift (not to be confused with the Flash one - Swift3D). I used Infidi-D briefly when I was working for a package design and display company once (the new director was trying to get everyone to switch over to that from Strata). |

I could so do with some help with something Will PM you now!! |
