This 100 ft sculpture reminds me of Lucid Dreaming

This scultpure by Jonathan Borofsky entitled "Walking to the Sky" is now at the Nasher Center in Dallas Texas. When I first saw the photo in the paper I immediately thought of Lucid Dreaming! Take a look at the links below and let me know what you think:

      /index.html]http://www.borofsky.com/public/walkingtoth...nyc]/index.html

I'm going to try and see it in person (it's here in Dallas for 12 months).

That's an awesome sculpture. I'd like to see something like that in the UK.
It would be better than just a bird stuck on top of a pole

I don't like being nasty about other people's artwork, but this thing cost 60,000 ($112,000) for God's sake!

im thinking that your thinking this was a dream sign because it looks fairly real and thats not supposed to happen.

True.. I would HOPE that if I saw people walking up a pole into the sky that it would come to me that I must be dreaming and thus trigger lucidity.

But it also made me think that walking UP a pole is something that one could only do in a lucid dream.

      LMAO!

It really is just a dang bird on a pole.

And you know other birds are just going to shit on it.
