Angel at flight

Look up in the sky
let the stars sing you a lullaby
wipe the tears from your face
this light will be with you in the darkest of days

As i gently kiss your cheek
i heard you say you love me
your gentle words fill up the air
your presious smile and beautiful hair
i love you and i want you to know
my heart will never let you go
as you slowly drift away
i pray that i will see you another day
as i hold your pail white hand
your fingertips feel like sand
i hold back my tears and try not to cry
when we started to say our last goodbyes
i put the most beautiful flowers on your grave
i dream about you every day
as a tear drops from my eye
i remember you and slowly sigh
whenever i see a shooting star
i feel your love is never far
as i look up in the lonely night sky
