What size/dimensions did you need?

Youtube channel art ranges, but the icon is 800x800, If you do make one I would appreciate it more than you know. For the youtube banner it is 2560 by 1440. What ever you can do though will work. Also i would like it as a PNG file if possible unless there is a background

Could you be a little bit more specific on how you would like this bear to look:
For example, do you want it to look:
1) cute, cudly, warm, happy - more akin to the standard teddy bear.
2) like a fighter, striving for greatness. Possibly hardened expression.
3) Somewhat sad, melancholy.
Anyways, just an idea of what the mood of the channel will be so that I can try to capture that in the art. Any preferred clothing: hats, glasses, etc.

Also, when you say animated, I am guessing you are talking about the style of the picture and that you don't want an animation of a teddy bear, like a gif or something.

In reference to the graffiti part, I could draw the bear on something, like real graffiti would be drawn on a wall or something for a background, or would you prefer a transparent background?

Just for a reference, I drew a quick five minute sketch of a possible idea for the cute, cuddly themed teddy bear:
It's just a line-art, so nothing impressive.

Since this post i have found a bear but if you think you can do better, by all means I will take a look and use it

All right, I was working on an idea for the bear, and I thought that I would incorporate the Bootleg idea into it by having the bear wear bootleggers (aka bell-bottoms). To go along with that theme, I kind of included the whole cowboy outfit to go with it since cowboys are stereotypical for wearing bootleggers (as well as sailors, at least, they used to). Here is what I have so far:03 - Western Teddy.jpg It's still in line-art stage, and the grey lines are just the draft messy version before it gets cleaned up and put in dark black. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I'm working on it. If you like the concept tell me, or I will start on a different take.

One last question, for the main icon, I could just use the head, kind of like your current one, since the final icon is scaled down so much, or I could keep the full body view. Which would you prefer?

You could still use the full body on the main banner and then just the head for the square icon, for a bigger view of the head. Whatever you would like.

Just another update on the picture. Progress is a bit slow since I'm pretty busy, so I only end up with ten or fifteen minutes to work on him, but I'll keep plugging away 'till he's done.

Looks good man, i was thinking if you added a bandana around his neck and hanging on the front of his shirt that would look good also, just a thought though

Yeah, I think that could really bring the cowboy factor out some more. Thanks, I'll do that.

No, I actually don't have a skype, or a webcam for that matter.

I didnt want to use a webcam haha skype is sometimes easier for messages, just like aim used to be

Oh, well I could look into getting an account if you think it would be better. Tell me what you think, if it's worth it or not?

Here or there is fine, Skype is free and if you have friends that have it you can make free calls to them. I think you should get it just to have it

I added some more color. I did get a skype account, but I didn't know if you got the image that I sent before. So here it is so far:
