As I gentley kiss your cheek
I heard you say that you love me
your gentle words fill up the air
your precious smile and beautiful hair
I love you and I want you to know
my heart will never let you go
as you slowly drift away
I pray that I will see you another day
as I hold your pail white hand
your fingertips feel like sand
I hold back my tears and try not to cry
when we started to say our last good-byes
I put the most beautiful flowers on your grave
I dream about you every day
as a tear drops from my eye
I remember you and slowly sigh
whenever I see a shooting star
I feel your love is never too far
as I look up in the lonely night sky
