I chanced upon a man inside a goat-cheese sandwich stand
"Hey!" He spoke with fear "Take this coupon"
I poured upon his face unbroken scrutiny, with haste
It seemed to me his gaze was insincere

"Opportunities to me, bring this coupon, what will be?"
He looked around , said "Buy one get one free"
I bit his maze-like gaze to test his coupon campaign phase
Slightly sour, but ripe enough for me

The coupon felt surreal, misplacing sight with astral feel
His glinting eyes did draw me with a chill
The sandwich tasted strange, untamely beautiful, yet faint
Akin to sunrise hidden through the clouds

Cut from my reverie by "the next, you'll see, 'tis free"
A fueled expression rose upon his face
It seemed as if, to me, his hope was waiting anxiously
For something to occur i could not see

A wind swept passed my eyes, uncanny visions came alive
Unfocused images of strangers feigned the man
"Take bite of second feed" he said "This time you'll be set free"
His eagerness got caught within my eyes

"Discard your mask old man!" Frustration visited his plan
He played the fool but wasn't fooling me
"Assurance, you can bet, this sandwich will taste better yet"
With that he placed the sandwich on the stand

My instinct tried to warn, it yelled "Your mind will feel his scorn!"
But goat cheese piles weakness 'pon my knees
I bit into the bread and found the cheese within was red
But tasted marvelously like a dream

"Haha!" He laughed "Triump at last!" And wrapped his neck within a scarf
I looked confused but carried eating on
"Your mind within the bread is gone, digestion of yourself, my son
Trapped within a paradox you are"

He stepped outside into the night, his form then vanished out of sight
His voice remained like snow upon the air
"Existence ends for you, my friend, your life from now is just pretend"
His laugh evaporated from my ears

I looked again toward my hand and found the coupon turned to sand
The strange old man had really set me free
My was me and me was i and i was me within my mind
I sat inside my goat-cheese sandwich stand

Just a random poem i wrote purely for fun.
I thought it had a kind of dream quality to it, so it would fit in here
