Trybe pices to print - help choose

Hey fellow DV art lovers!

Well, I'm finally going to take a chance and try to see if I can sell some prints of my stuff out there. Because there is a lot of up front fees to cover with each piece (scanning, color correction, etc) I won't be able to have prints of all my pieces just yet. Besides, I'd like to just start out small and see if there's any interest for them first.

I was wondering if any of you would like to give me your opinion as to which pieces you think the general public would buy. I have a little gallery that you can look at to pick from. I'm really only looking for the top 3 or 4 picks. There are a couple that I can't have done (no longer have the originals), but I guess I'll start a poll with the "contenders".

Yes I'm quite partial to the trybes lurker one... though I love eyes/faces and I'm a bit biased ;)

the thing I thought would be cool, is to have 3 trybe prints in a row on a wall, that all kinda worked together (in my view)

I think it would be cool to have TiedTwoStones, PlayBalls, and TwoTempted together on my wall

but if I had to pick the one that I think most people would really go for, I think PlayBalls would really sell well

(but my all time personal fav will always be HerLocksDiVine, for reasons, well...you know :) )

Hey everyone!, thanks so much for your input and praticipation in the poll so far. I'm really glad I did this. It's weird how things that I think are not going to be so popular end up being favorites to the general public.

Your replies have helped me take a new look at some of my older pieces that I thought were not so intriguing and maybe carry over some of their qualities in new pieces.

Yep, actually this sort of reasoning was something that the printer brought up. He suggested I have him color correct the prints so that they have the exact same tone and therefore could be grouped/sold together in sets and look consistent. :wink:

Hey dude, my top three would be HerLocksDivine, then PlayBalls and Lurker. :)

Personally I think that PlayBalls would be a good one to sell, it has quite a nice asthetic quality to it............... and it's all circly. :mrgreen:

So far I got two pretty much locked down: HerLocksDiVine and PlayBalls. I just want to pick one more. Even though Lurker has gotten a lot of votes and is a favorite, I'm kinda reluctant to invest in making prints of it. I just don't think it's as elaborate as some of the others. I'm thinking TiedTwoStones or TwoBeNeatHer right now.

I am in the process of starting a new one (which I might post another step-by-step of) so I could just wait until I finish that one and make prints of it.

Maybe I should just print the two for now and stop fiddle-fartin around :|

I see a progression personally with these 3, and I think they are all for the most part equally elaborate, with each one getting a bit more elaborate and detailed as you move from left to right
