Zoo Photos (warning: LOTS of photos)

While I was on vacation last month, we visited the Georgia Zoo. This was the first opportunity I had to really use the different settings on my new camera (Sony 5.1 megapixel CyberShot DSC-H1 with 12X optical zoom).

Oh wow Burns, there are awomse photos. Looks like they came right out of a National Geographic mag.

I heart your photos. They are wonderful. I especially love the alligator one.

The pics of the lizards and turtles were pretty much in my mom's backyard in Alabama - we went for a walk one afternoon, and the salamander with the red head was just chillin' on a rock. He started moving around when I started getting closer, but he was very cooperative! And I had to sneak up on the turtles because as soon as they heard (or saw) me, they started plopping back into the water!

I love taking photos of nature. :sunflower:
