Art is music, vice versa, and I've been kind of interested about this. I am just wondering if any people on this forum can hear highly original and creative music in your head. This isn't limited to say, classical music, but I wouldn't be too trusting to say, a techno-beat or such (but nonetheless, I am just curious).
As for me, I can hear many ranges of instruments in my head, and usually within a good pitch (I'm learning to develop a better pitch, perhaps near-perfect or perfect, so I can transpose thought-to-paper), and my styles go from guitar rock to classical, some baroque, and a few others. I can usually hear all of the instruments at once, and pick out certain ones to hear them closely. It's not that bad, as when I'm alone, I don't go crazy--sort of like being somewhere you don't belong (or just being alone), and hearing the radio when you want. When I want happy, I can go happy-sounding, and more melodies go to major. Same thing with sad, where I can go to more minor tones.
I'm also seeing if I can develop a technique where I can induce a lucid dream by this method. Not everyone has this, but an indication to a slight possession may be: ie, you can recall most if not all a song by listening to it once. Anything more than 10 minutes is highly impressive. An hour or more, and you're VERY good.
But like I said, just post any comments or anything if you guys have this sort of thing.
