Thread: Things that I drew that didn't suck

The tag and the MS paint one are my favourites. How long did it take you for either? They're fucking sweet.

The flash one I like too; it's simple, but nice.

I've never been a fan of anime drawings; it's overdone, I find it boring.

Thanks. I can't remember how long they took. The MS Paint one took longer, though, I know that much. Probably an hour, hour and a half. The tag probably took half an hour to an hour.

How did you do the light shading on the MS paint one? With the lines, that must have taken ages surely, unless there's some special technique? I like the attention to detail on it as well, such as the buttons and earrings.

Did you use a tablet for the computer ones or are they done with a mouse?

Copy and paste is a friend. Except it was the kind where I selected the line, held control and dragged and dropped it where I wanted, not the ctrl+v kind.

Mouse. The good thing about Flash is that I can go back and edit each of the curves individually, so I can get them exactly where I want. It takes a lot longer, but it's worth it.

Well I have this website www.djadamash.com and need a banner as the one I have sucks dick and cant find anyone to help me with flash

I want a really awesome flash banner with a movie/clip which does all sorts..

I don't know anything about Adobe Illustrator. If it's vector, then yes, probably.

Nice work, Mark. Sorry I haven't commented before now.

The first one is really really good, except for her right arm from the elbow down, which looks kinda funky. That second one is really cool, makes me think of a neon sign. The Paint one is downright amazing, when you consider what you have to work with in Paint. And that last one is (kinda disturbingly) really cool.
