      My bands demo.

Hi, made a demo recently there, I'm the guitarist on it and wouldn't mind a bit of critiscism positive or negative, it's the best way to learn!

That's the link for our bebo page.

I totally expected to hear a sucky band, but this isn't half-bad. Stronger guitar maybe, but yeah....

Hmm, sounds actually pretty good to me. You've got a pretty good vocalist too.

I'm not a big fan of power trios, but this is some great stuff! You guys play in time and in tune and have some interesting music.

I'd love to hear more dynamics is all - it's all mono-volume, like it's compressed to the nth degree. That's really my only critique - it gets tiring after a bit because it's always full bore volume-wise, even though you do a nice job playing around with the "space" in your sound. (I didn't listen through all your songs because of this.)

If I may suggest, try playing around with something other than the minor pentatonic in your shredding. It doesn't take a lot to add tremendous interest with some different 'flavors' - like some diminished runs or harmonic minor stuff. Not that you don't sound really good with what you're doing, but it might be worth exploring.

Thanks for giving us a chance to listen!

Yeah, it's lost some dynamics from being put onto Bebo etc. Thanks for all the comments!

About the soloing, I'm not really a shredder to be honest and that song just suits the pentatonic I think. We've loads more songs though and the solos are quite varied, it's just that we only recorded one song that has a proper solo!

BTW the drummer is the singer!

These are pretty damn good. Significantly better than I was expecting. Weekend Hero is the strongest, Shopping For Dierdre has a repetitive riff. But all the best with the band!

Thanks very much, yeah Weekend Hero is the strongest of all the songs.

Stopping For Deirdre has too many verses I think, which brings it up to the 5 minute mark so it does get a bit repetitive.

By the way, since posting the above post, I've kept the tab open in Opera, and I've been listening to it for most of the afternoon. So, yeah, you lot are good. Looking forward to the first album!

      Bloody hell, cheers!

I really didn't expect such good comments.
