      The Night

"Years ago a promise was made...
We keep The Night and you may have The Day
It is obvious this promise has been broken
From the recent discovery of electricity and the invention of light bulbs
To the "discovery" of fire centuries ago

We will take The Night back

Night and Day are not times nor events
When Night crosses over into day there are real changes
      They are places
Since You have crossed into Our land you have understood fear
Since You have known Our land You have known death

The Night is ours...We will take it back

      The Night"

I found this on a piece of paper along with a drawing on sumas mountain, B.C., I will try to scan it soon.

Night and day are indeed places - the half of the earth facing away from and towards the sun at any given moment, respectively.

It's a nice poem, but the lines about lightbulbs and electricity seem a bit crammed.

Try right-clicking on the photo and selecting 'view image'. This should get you to a page with nothing but the picture on it, in the top left corner.

Once you've got that, copy the address bar contents and come here. In the posting window, there's a little picture icon on the toolbar at the top. Click that and paste the address in. It should show up that way.

Ah, try www.imageshack.com then. You can select the file from your computer and upload it (you should probably resize it to be a bit smaller). Once it's uploaded, get to that view image website and it should work from there.
