Nope.
Ouch Bosco. Not your best day.
You have no idea what your talking about, do you?
i gotta bring this topic back, i know exactly what im talking about, my music teacher even agrees with me, music is the perfection of mathmatical equations. If you know anything about music you will know what i am talking about, if you dont look up intervals, chords ect...
not necessarily. Sure there CAN be a lot of math behind music, but you can watch the break down of that starting around the 1890s. Sorry, but your over-generalization of music is complete bullshit. Also, a mathematical type brain will not help you write better. Theoretical structure in music can be very logical; understanding dominants, secondary dominants, sub-dominants, tensions, modal interchange, and harmonic analysis can help you write, but what it really comes down to is how creative you are and how well it sounds when everything is put together. Math is not the key.
You know, Bosco, i do agree with you there. You dont have to use the math to play it, but you need to know it for the measurements of the notes and so forth.Quote:

If anyone knows anything about drawing, one definately needs to know alot about math, for the measurements of the body and so on.
As for writing, its somewhat the same if you are particularly conversing about poetry. You need to have an accurate amount of stanza's and a flow and amount of words.
exactly..........its like the world in general, you dont have to know science to live right? but science controls how everything is done
someone said before it is creativity that is music, which is true also, but again almost everything creative makes perfect mathematical sense
its also one way of describing God, we live "creatively" but science is gods way of making sure things stay in order....if that makes sense?
makes perfect sense. you described is soo well, i have nothing further to comment to that lol!
i love how the first few people thought i was crazy hahaha and had no idea what i was saying
