OMG! You're right! I didn't even notice it until now. Maybe I should be an advertiser.

Indeed, I've been published... once... in something small...

But I got paid per page, so that counts, doesn't it?

I so far have not breached 150 pages - so I suppose I'm novella length at best.

But the story I had published was called Nothing is Ever Simple, a short story in a publication called Amberzine. http://users.ev1.net/~homeville/fictionmag...ag/t19.htm#A611

The lovely Sarah Bear who also had a short story in this zine has now signed a deal with Bantam Spectra for a trilogy - her page is here: http://www.elizabethbear.com/. She's a great person, I encourage everyone to check out her stuff. (And lo and behold the cover over there - the chick does not have an oversized bust, and we're all amazed and grateful!)

Haven't gotten to write much lately, because I've been working full time, and going to school full time, but when school is over I hope to get back to it.

Woah! You get paid?!? I was gonna sign up with fictionpress.com, but if you get paid, well, that changes everything...

I really don't recommend self-publishing, because you'll probably lose money on it (for paper publishing), and it means nothing to the professional publications.

I do recommend getting involved with a writers circle and getting your work reviewed and then steadily sending it out into markets. OWW is a good place to start, depending on your genre. If they don't match your genre, ask them where else to look - they're good folks.

It might be my lonely assumption, but I think there is a limit to the number of people who are not enjoying their lives. IMO, they make the brunt of roleplayers.
Haha! I've had my first fully lucid dream! NOW I CAN DIE HAPPY!

Novelist, sci/fi or fantasy, action/adventure with a bit of everyething else thrown in. I've got... six originals running? I think it's 6... only one of them is running very strong at this point, on chapter 30, and when i put it into paperback size it's something like 300 pages (makes little hardcopies every now and again to edit out of on the run or to sample out). I was hoping to try to find a publisher something around Christmas, but I'm getting the idea that I won't be ready for one by then... *sighs*

So, um, yeah... I write stories.
      Life is a lust,
      Love's a kind of dust,
      Hope's an age-old feud,
And both Angels and Demons are allowed to brood.

I have several stories running, however they all interlace together to form a larger story and to give a broader perspective on what is happening in the world they are all based in.

A good place to go if you want to get critiques on your stories is http://www.fictionpress.com/

My cousin uses it's partner site www.fanfiction.com and it's not too bad.
The best times of your life should not be when you're still so young, or else you'll live a life always dreaming of the past.
