Thread: Tell me what you think about my music

I like it. I mean, slightly right of my usual style but I like it.

Thanks a lot guys. Listening to the first song now, I am not really digging some of the punctuation of the vocals, but I feel attempting to sing it again would not work so well.

It is pretty repetitive, but I decided since it was a slower timing and jazzier than most music, that I keep it accessible to most people, and also much of my inspiration comes from slower music styles that are repetitive, but also sort of float by and are there for harder to grasp (think Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Ambient music styles).

I even wish I could go back and change some of the lyrics which seem a bit puzzling at times, but I think it would ruin the song as it always keeps its magic, because when I performed I was in a particular mind set, and way of thinking.

I'm used to writing songs with a lot of "build-up" to them and its sure reminiscent in these songs, but its also obvious I'm fighting the habit a little bit, except for the last song which is probably the most accessible as its a bit more upbeat, faster and more energetic than the other songs.

a friend of mine does a radio talk show and he listened to my music and liked it and is inviting me on the air to play a song and get interviewed. He was very nice and complimented it calling it "beautiful".

I haven't gotten much criticism, but things like that just make my day.

anyone else? Please feel free to tell me anything about it. Maybe how it makes you feel? the lack of feeling?

haha, thanks. Sorry to bash you're drawing (the proportions were really good for an anime character with more human touches), I just thought it was a bit too minimalist and generic.
