The rest of 2008.

And now for '09, so far.

Theres a definite improvement in quality over time, which is nice to see.


I like the photos of people, I think potential is abound.
Flowers seem so done. but then again, what isn't, nowadays.

Although i'm not sure a little copyright thing is necessary.

It's not. At all.

I use these on deviant art though, and people are appealed to it. Because it looks professional or some crap.

I love the macro shots. Especially the one of the moss (?) on the tree. Have you used the same camera for your '07 and '08 shots? What do you use?

Thanks Burns. (it's lichen to be exact) No, I've used different cameras. I used to have the canon powershot SD450 in '07, but than I got the SX100 is '08.

Funny story behind that one actually, that was the first pic I ever took with the SX100. It was a full face shot and I zoomed in from my PC to see how well the details had come out. So hovering near the eye I though "Wow, you can actually see everything reflected." So I cropped it and voila.

Amazing, Xoxie! There are a large number that I really like, and the bunny is adorable!

What amazes me about that eye picture is the reflection it has in it. Seriously, post that thing in an art contest or something!

The others were a strange mix between creepy, dreamy, and mysterious.

The first is so...green.
The second I find gloomily magical but almost saddening.
I also like the last one very much.

The third is my favorite, very pointy.

Damn, Xox, you are really, really good. I know several professional photographers who do free lance artsy stuff (on the side... They all put food on their tables by taking wedding pictures.) that is not quite on the level of yours.

Wow nice pics, man. The one with the eye is especially cool. You must live in a very nice place, are those large hills or mountains? Doesn't matter, makes for some great scenic shots, I can imagine how that would get you interested photography.

Thanks! yeah, I live in a pretty scenic place.. And depends what pic you're talking about with the hills/mountains. The last two were the Smoky mountains.

That eye pictures gets me everytime I see this thread...

My portrayal of the younger version of Ashton Kutcher from The Butterfly Effect. Really like the surreal-ness, perfect for the movie. Wish I could've photographed this guy more.

Those are some very beautiful pictures. The Smokey Mountains are particularly unique in there beauty and you have really captured that.
