ok this last one here that im going to post was something i did in MS paint... with the most primitive tools ...the bike and helmet took about 2 months to do and i really never got around to finishing all the little details... the lightning in the back ground i did in photoshop

Dang your drawings are really awesome...they almost look...traced they are so good and precise. Not sketchy at all. The bike is kick ass!!! :goodjob:
-
thanks nina ... yeah i get the tracing comment alot... im just a perfectionist so i will keep redoing something until i think it looks perfect... when i was young i used to erase things so much over and over that i would end up ruining a piece because i would end up putting a hole in the paper lol
-
if you will notice on the paper drawn picks i always start out with a drawn horizontal and vertical line in the paper to use as reference points... then when im done or adding more detail i erase them ... but in these. you can still see them pretty well especially with the incomplete chick with the cape
-
I do the same thing!
They are so awesome...draw me draw me!!! Hehehe

I think the girl deserves a head though :D
-
haha nah she is fine without a head, it's like porn, sometimes u don't want to see everything, that part that u imagine is great!!

I love 'em! Especially the second. Guy with funky short hair and a gun..... I should have my boyfriend do that!
You've got talent, I'll tell you that! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. :goodjob2:

Dude, you're good! Your style is incredibly precise, it must've taken a long time to achieve that. It takes me hours to get the crispness on a final product. I usually just give up first.
That motorcycle in incredible, no matter what you used for it. I stand in awe of your awesome skill.

i thank you all very much for the praise. as far as how long i have been doing it, i started when i was in 5th grade.. i am now 25. even though i dont do it often enough, with all the experience i have had since then, i find that even without drawing in 6 months or so i still get better and better with each one. my perception always seems to increase with time. i personally KNOW that EVERYONE can do this with pratice. I dont have anymore talent than anyone else. its just something that i stuck with for awhile ... the reason i know that is that i took someone with absolutely NO drawing experience and with just a little guidance while i stood by her side and watch her draw a picture that she was looking at, she drew it almost perfectly. i was trying to prove the same point to her because she used to always WHINE about how she wish she had the same "talent". so if anyone has a pasion for it and needs a little help ... just let me know
-
Like I always say - talent helps, but practice and passion is way more important
Skill doesn't rely on talent :P
My father reckons I have talent, but I never exercise it unfortunately... (My father is a commercial artist)

I believe in you Placebo!!!!
Wheelie, I have not done much artistic for a while... I am sure we will get a chance to work on a piece together!!!
