      The Blank Page

I have an amazing idea for a book, but there is this blank page in my way. Any suggestions to help me overcome this fear?

Hey guys, I'm back. Feels good man

Put anything down on paper, I find that doing a drawing/ writing down anything, even copying some ingredients, starts the pen moving.
      Then just write. Like BLAM.

There was a guy, who used to put by his desk a note saying; 'write dammit. What else are you good for?'

Don't be this masochistic lol. But keep yourself motivated, say make a minumum to write every day. Mabye even figure out how many pages there will be, and set your daily minimum, so you know roughly when youll finish.

And avoid too much TV. I personally think it poops all over creativity.

And the fear is the best bit. Feel the fear, and do it anyway. Good luck

Daydreaming is a big help for me. Come up with something totally unrelated, daydream it, then write it. Then just keep branching off of that until, by six degrees of separation, you're on your chosen topic.
