Moose ! Photography

a few photos from my small collection (hopefully i'll be getting my own camera soon - these are taken with the Nikon at school). a dog named Diesel. --- our old boy, Hank. the most amazing dog i've met through out my life in the business and also our first. incredibly healthy until the cancer kicked in. RIP, you silly hound. (note the snowflake on his nose, heheh) --- another picture of Hank. i loved his eyes. --- a photoshoot with a friend. this was an assignment in photo class. we had to project images onto our models in interesting ways. i didn't use this when i handed in the final project but i still love it. --- christmas eve, last year. i zoomed out while taking a picture of our tree. --- and finally, our other hound who's still around. this is Katie, rolling in the dandelions.

WARNING: there's a lot of nudity in these posts. mostly men and women in underwear/bikinis but i believe there are two pictures with topless women. enjoy. yesterday was pride '09! it was absolutely amazing. my mom's first time and my second, but i stayed a lot longer this year. here are a few pictures i took. i'll add more soon as well as some videos! America was the best dressed out of the country flags: there were a lot of men dressed in bondage, most of them old. this is one of the younger fellas: this is basically the essence of the parade - mostly naked people, haha: i had the same art teacher in high school for all 4 years, this is his son who would substitute sometimes: i took this for my friend because her mother was suffering from breast cancer: this is the first real event in the parade, "dykes on bikes": one of the things that makes us Canadian, are the mounties: after the parade goes in a half circle around the 'gay village' in Vancouver, everyone heads down to English bay for merch, food, entertainment and general gayness until they head to the gay clubs afterwards. here's me and my mom with our nifty hats on the beach:

oh by the way, i want you all to know that as i post these pictures, i have no pants on and i'm wearing the rainbow hat from the previous pictures. ladies dancing on a float, always fun: there were a few Native American groups there too: a man with a Pomeranian on his shoulder - i understand, the cement was incredibly hot: a beautiful drag queen: the flag of my home province, Saskatchewan: some old shirtless guy across the street, most likely smoking weed: here's one of my moms favorite outfits from the parade: the guy with the mask and superman underwear ran into the crowd and leaped onto someone i'm assuming he knew, then the dry humping commenced: and, what you've all been waiting for, boobies: more coming soon!

this is Mama Kitty. she was a stray who followed us when we moved and came to our house pregnant almost 13 years ago. we kept a few of her babies. this cat is amazing; she's incredibly affectionate and loving but also street smart and a great hunter. she would go out everyday and bring back rats, mice, birds and rabbits. she also save my dad's friend from a fire. this is one of Mama Kitty's offspring. this is our deaf pitbull/unicorn cross.
