Love the Kabala inspired image, wow.
You ever read David Mack's Kabuki?

woah .....someone replied. I assumed most had heard of him or something... or didn't care...... but yeah, your first couple of lines about wraps it up. This stuff is mind altering.... and to attempt in answering where he gets these images from, I'd have to say drugs. More specifically, LSD. But as you can tell by the drawings depicting chakras and other higher realms, he aslo is spiritual.
I read somewhere that he worked in a coroners office, and learned the human anatomy so well by disecting bodies..... yuck.
Anyway, I haven't ever read kabuki, but did a search for it and will check it out :D

Its interesting how artists use drugs to alter their percpetions of reality, such as LSD, Grass and Mushrooms. Im not 100 sure i could handle the effects at this moment in my life, maybe when im older and more atune to my own personal consiousness i can take that road. When i took drugs the effects seemed harmless and fantastically interesting, the level of consentration etc My senses were hightened, i draw amazing art work and become more creative. But my mental equilibrum was distroyed weeks and months later. If i was in a more controlled environment (not the city) and more connected to my spirtual side im sure i would have taken them without going skitzo and getting depressed. You need to live in the country and be alone to take drugs.
Its sad how people have to take drugs to be creative, my friend said somthing intetesting, its like cheating yourself if your not able to do somthing without the help of drugs.
But then look at Timothy Leary (lol)
