THE FEELING YOU GET WHEN YOU KNOW
The feeling you get when you know you’re alive!
that sensation can change your life,
through the many paths you blindly wonder,
looking for the wrong one and never the right,
when the true one is waiting to be found.
When you stand alone and realise who you are,
that feeling can never be taken away
by neither force nor anger shell I ever lie to myself,
and go against what I believe.
For I am who I am,
and not who you are.
The rules which you make are not mine,
so why should you make me follow them,
and for you not to follow mine?
That fear you feel when you’re forced into something you don’t want to feel,
why should we be made to feel that which we don’t wish to feel?
when feeling is all we have?
Why must it be crowded with useless dust?
when it can be filled with the most beautiful passion?
We all set out to be alive,
but existence is what we all fear deep within our hearts.
Escape is what we need,
the bars to your soul are in front of you,
and you are the only one who has the key.
There is one thing that must be stressed,
don’t ever lie to yourself.
When lying is all you do,
there is no room for being you.
When all lies do is trick all your intentions at being yourself.
