I thinking of buying a Lensbaby Composer. It's a pretty awesome objective, where you can chose exactly what you want in focus. It also gives a pretty cool blurry effect and it is good for macro photography, with the right tools. It should also be good for portraits.

It's pretty cheap too, which is pretty nice, since my economy has certainly seen better days

Ah, lovely stuff. Snowdrops for some reason always love getting their pictures taken, at least at my house nice job all around though, I can tell you've gotten more used to your new camera

Also found these out in my garden. I think they are burrowed zerglings.

The piranha plant image is wonderful. There's something about the colors, and then the texture of the pipe in particular that ties everything together. There's something more, I don't know what it is. That's the kind of image I'd expect to see featured in a magazine. I'm saving it.

Your last image does look alien. Like the teeth of a hidden creature.

That is my mom's old flash on top of my camera. Amazingly they can communicate, even though there is 2 decades between them, and it works pretty well.

In school I printed a trollface and then asked different people to hold it over their faces while I took pictures of them. Made for a pretty interesting .GIF.

Also got a new lens recently, though I haven't taken any really good pictures with it recently. It's difficult to use, but I'm sure that I'll get used to it in time.

I guess this qualifies more as a stock photo or something though I thought it was technically pretty good.

Taken with the new lens mentioned earlier. If the focus is adjusted right, the detail on this thing can be stunning. It's difficult though.

Guy in my class. It's an old picture actually and I didn't quite like how blurred his face is, but I think it's still a quite okay picture.

I like how you used the focus here, man.

Also, I agree with your desire to get a wide angle lens. I bought one once and it really increases the number of shots that I can do.
