      The sound of sleeping

Music for you mind and soul

This first tune is one I wrote in tribute to my favorite guitarist, Eddie Hazel. It kind of originated from the feeling you get listening to this song while smoking some fine herb. After I finished working out the basic idea for it, I felt like it reminded me of flying in a lucid dream, and thats where the name comes from.

I used this as a project for my electronic music class, so it's a little "experimental". By this I mean theres weird ambient noises. I'm not done wiriting this, and most of it was just improvised, but I'm planning on re-recording this and a few other tracks with a band sometime soon.

157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

Amazing! you're my new favorite artist. Don't bother checking out my music, its dated and robotic and not what I enjoy playing or listening too.

You're music is seriously my new favorite music.

Thanks man, I appreciate the positive feedback. I've been feeling like I suck lately because I'm going to school for jazz and I've been playing really bad the last few performances I've done.

I'll try and throw some more stuff up here later but I think I have to find it first.

Here's another song. I recorded it last night for a project due today. It was all recorded direct input so the tone's not so great, but I put some flangers and phasers on there to cover it up.

This one is kind of a Hendrix tribute. I wrote the begining chord riff on his birthday this year while celebrating, and there some other chords that I just stole for transitions.

This is an unfinished song. The solo sounds pretty shitty, it's just something I put in as a fill because I'm not done writing this.

Should I make the beginning(0-40sec) twice as long, or should I have it go back to the beginning at about 1:05? If anyone has an opinion it be helpful.

The first links screwed, it goes to ebaums world? Weird.
Anyway, yeh I dig your music, pretty cool.
Actually, it's VERY cool. I like the last half of the Jimi Tribute.
I can imagine it being in a movie or something, with a guy walking through a dry, dusty city or something, down on his luck. Cant explain it but I can see it. Very nice.
