I don't have anything in mind for the lyrics/singing style. If you can sing and you're interested at all, then feel free to send me some of your work ( [email protected] ). I've heard good metal music with all kinds of different singers, so anything could work out well. Plus, it'd go along with the title "Hybrid."

It was really good, especially when the clean guitar came in. The only problem I found was that some parts sounded out of time, so when you're recording without a drum track playing, make sure to use a metronome. I really did like it though.

Another thing is, if you don't have a singer, you could always record some kickass leads over it.

I actually listen to blues mainly,

but my advice would be:

the intro is a little long, and can get repetitive. maybe cut it from 46 seconds to 23 seconds

add a 2-3 second scream after 23 seconds
add a guitar solo after that clean guitar

from what little experience i have with metal music, thats all the insight i can offer you. the only real problem i had was the intro, the rest of the song stays interesting. good work
